Hi, we are “Stitch Lane." Our story started in a city that constantly pulses with passion,
freedom, and contagious energy. A place of boundless enthusiasm and unwavering
positivity, where dull moments dare not exist, where every corner resonates with the
spirit of a community united by shared dreams and aspirations – Kolkata. Here we're
headquartered and more than just a workplace, it's the place we call home.

A few months after enjoying college, we two started our career in a fashion brand
together. Coming from two different backgrounds (one from finance and another from design)
we spent a decade working as professionals in the Indian fashion retail segment. But
don't worry, this is not one of those tired
'friends-quit-their-corporate-gig-to-travel-then-found-their-passion-only-to-come-back-a
nd-start-their-venture' stories. We really loved our time as young professionals; we got to
understand fashion retail widely, think about the products creatively, travel to gain
knowledge immensely, worked with incredible people and did not have regret in the
world.

After years of diving deep into the fashion scene, we stumbled upon a revelation. It
seemed like on the national stage, there were these colossal fashion giants, all organized
and hanging in there for what felt like forever. On the flip side, there were these local
fashion brands throwing anything and everything into the mix, all in the name of fashion.
And there we were, spotting a gap big enough to walk through. Hardly any brand seemed
to be offering high-quality fashion at a pocket-friendly price.

So, armed with curiosity and fuelled by countless cups of coffee, we embarked on a
journey. We conducted extensive research and development, dipping into our savings to
snag samples from almost every big-shot brand out there. What did we find? Well, either
someone was whipping up fashion at a bargain, but the quality left much to be desired.
Or, on the upside, someone was crafting top-notch pieces, but their price tags were
soaring to the stratosphere.

This little puzzle sparked an idea in us - an idea that had us brainstorming for months.
From lengthy conversations over the phone in our drawing room to contemplative
silences in the local coffee shop, “Stitch Lane” was born.

To build the categories, we decided not to stick only to women's clothing but also dive
into the world of men's fashion. After years in the women's fashion game, we decided to
spice things up and jump into designing menswear. Let me tell you, it was a total
adrenaline rush!

But hold on, it wasn't just a break from women's fashion. As guys ourselves, we noticed
that men's fashion has gotten a bit stagnant in the long run. It felt like there was a standard
routine in most well-known menswear brands, especially in everyday wear. However, in
the post-COVID era, suddenly, there's a breath of fresh air in years old men's fashion
scenario. People started rocking in colorful prints, breaking stereotypes, and just wanting
to feel good in what they wear.

That's when we came in and aimed our designs at young, fresh, bold, and curious men –
those who are open to the world of fashion, love being a part of it, and stay updated with
the latest trends to be daring with their looks. Our secret ingredients? It's the
characteristic style, attention to detail, and high-quality fabrics that keep us moving
forward.

In Stitch Lane, we are merging global trends and contemporary classics inspired by
nature, art, architecture and modern conversation, our silhouettes lie in trendy cuts, bold
lines, and geometric precision. Considerately crafted using combinations of both colour
and print, or sometimes simply texture, our products meet at the intersection of
